Who this climbing log is for
This log is for rock climbers and boulderers, indoors and outdoors. It suits gym climbers working through color grades, boulderers projecting hard problems and outdoor climbers logging crags and multi-pitch days. Climbing progress comes in bursts, and a written record shows how strength, technique and confidence improve over a season. It also helps you remember beta, conditions and the routes you want to return to.
How to use your climbing log
Set goals, log practice, record routes and grades, track season stats and personal bests, plan training, check gear, note coach advice and list projects. Write climbing goals, such as a new grade or first outdoor lead. Log each session with location, style and how you felt. Record routes and problems with grade, attempts and whether you sent. Total season stats and personal bests. Plan training for strength, power and endurance. Check your gear before trips and note when ropes or shoes need replacing. Write advice from coaches and partners, and keep a list of projects with notes on moves and beta.
