FolarraStudio is a small design studio that makes calm, botanical printable planners. It was founded by Sufyan Abbasi, a planner designer in Pakistan, who designs every planner himself, one page at a time, with soft sage leaves, thin gold lines and plenty of white space. The goal is simple: planning should feel peaceful, not stressful, and a page you enjoy looking at is a page you will actually use.
How it started
FolarraStudio began as a shop on Etsy, where people buy our planner bundles for their homes, classrooms and small businesses. Along the way we noticed how many people were searching for one specific planner, such as a bakery order log, a hifz tracker, a horse care record or a quilt planner, and finding only generic templates that did not quite fit. So we started designing planners for those exact needs, and the collection grew to more than a thousand.
Why the planners are free
We believe a good planner should be within reach of everyone, whether you are a student, a parent on a tight budget, a teacher buying supplies with your own money or a new business owner counting every dollar. That is why we share 1,034 of our single planners here for free. There is no sign-up, no email list to join and no catch. You choose a planner, download the PDF and start using it the same day.
The website is kept free by a small number of clearly labeled ads. If you would like matching sets, our niche kits, mega bundles and the Complete Library are available as paid downloads in our Etsy shop. Buying a bundle is never required, but it does help us keep designing new pages.
How we make our planners
- SketchEach page starts as a pencil sketch built around a real routine.
- DesignClear headings, generous writing space and the botanical style.
- CheckEvery PDF is checked for exact A4 or US Letter size, safe margins and the right page count.
Each planner starts with a real routine: what a dog walker needs to remember about each client, how a family tracks Quran reading through Ramadan, which numbers a landlord needs at tax time. Sufyan sketches the pages around that routine, then builds them with clear headings, generous writing space and a consistent botanical look across the whole collection. Lines and boxes are spaced for handwriting with an ordinary pen.
Our design standards
- Exact page sizes. Every planner is built twice, once at A4 (210 × 297 mm) and once at US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches), rather than stretched from one size to the other. A script checks every page of all 3,111 PDF files for its exact size.
- Safe margins. In the printable files, no text sits closer than 0.2 inches to the edge of the page, so nothing is cut off on an ordinary home printer. The same script checks this on every page.
- The right page count. The number of pages shown on each planner page is compared with the PDF itself, so what you see is what you download.
- Readable fonts. Headings use Cormorant Garamond and the writing guides use Lato, two clear typefaces that stay legible when printed small or in grayscale.
- Ink-friendly pages. Pages are mostly white with thin sage lines and small gold accents, so they print well in color or in black and white without heavy ink coverage.
How pages are updated
When we improve a planner or a guide, the change goes live with the next update of the site, and the "Last updated" date on that page moves to the month of the change. Dates only change when the content changes. If you spot a mistake, our editorial policy explains how we correct it.
Planners are printed at home or at a local print shop. Most people print only the pages they need and reprint favorites as often as they like, which keeps paper use low and lets each planner grow with you.
What makes them different
- Niche planners. Alongside budgets, meal plans and cleaning schedules, you will find planners for specific trades, hobbies, faith practices, classrooms and pets that are hard to find anywhere else.
- Three formats. Every planner comes in A4 for most of the world and US Letter for the US and Canada, and most also include a digital PDF with clickable tabs for tablets.
- Undated pages. Start in any month and never waste a page.
- One calm style. Because every planner shares the same design, pages from different planners sit together beautifully in one binder.
Say hello
We read every message. If you have an idea for a new planner, spot a mistake or simply want to share how you use your pages, please get in touch. Thank you for being here, and we hope these planners help you plan a calmer week.
