Who this lab notebook is for
This lab notebook is for high school and college students, homeschoolers taking lab sciences, and hobby scientists who want clear, dated records. It also helps tutors and science teachers who model good lab practice. If your notes are scattered across loose paper, it gives every experiment a proper home, from the first question to the final result.
How to use your lab notebook
Number each experiment and add it to the contents index so you can find it later. On the experiment entry page, write the date, aim, method and any changes you made. Record raw numbers in the data tables and plot them on the graph paper pages. Summarize what happened on the results page and write a short conclusion. Keep the reagent log and equipment log up to date so you always know what was used, when and how much.

Is this suitable for chemistry and biology?
Yes. The pages are general, so they work for chemistry, biology, physics or any hands-on science. Other pages in the 12-page lab notebook include "Notebook Index", "Experiment Entry" and "Data Table", so related notes stay together. Print the A4 or US Letter PDF as often as you need, or write in the digital version on a tablet.
Can I print extra data and graph pages?
Yes. Print as many as each experiment needs and file them right after the entry page. Look for the "Data Table" and "Graph & Sketch Page" pages in the 12-page lab notebook. Download it free, print only the pages you need and add more copies of any page later.
Is it good for homeschool lab credit?
Yes. Dated entries and clear results make a tidy record of lab hours and work for a transcript. Other pages in the 12-page lab notebook include "Notebook Index", "Experiment Entry" and "Data Table", so related notes stay together. Every page is undated, so you can start any day and reprint a page whenever it fills up.
Is the Lab Notebook really free?
Yes, the Lab Notebook is completely free for personal use. Download the 12-page PDF without an account or email address, print it at home as often as you like and share the page link with friends. Matching bundles on our Etsy shop are optional and paid; this single planner stays free.
