Who this birthday interview book is for
This book is for parents who want to interview their child every birthday and watch answers change over the years. It suits families with children from about three years old through the teen years, grandparents who want a lovely tradition and parents who love keepsakes. Children's answers about their favorite food, best friend or dream job change so much from year to year, and reading them back later is pure joy. A few minutes on each birthday creates a treasure for the whole family.
How to use your birthday interview book
Ask the interview questions, record this birthday, add a photo and handprint or drawing, write a letter and fill in birthdays at a glance. On or near each birthday, sit with your child and ask the interview questions, writing their answers exactly as they say them. Fill in the this birthday page with height, age and how you celebrated. Add a photo, then trace a handprint or let your child draw a picture. Write a birthday letter to your child to read when they are older. Note each year on the birthdays at a glance page so you can see the whole story together.
